Siding Vents

Placed at the base of the wall in a rainscreen install. These vents block insects, but let air move behind siding. See detail HERE.

Cor-A-Vent SV-3

The SV-3 at the top and bottom of the walls will let that moisture drain out and allow fresh air to pass through, keeping the system dry, all while keeping insects out. The Siding Vent System was designed to last and will not crush or compress.

To minimize the visibility of fasteners it is a good idea to use black or brown painted head nails or screws. Here is a source we have used.
